Tonight was Meet the Teacher night at the kids' new school. Both teachers seem very nice. Rotten1's teacher seems a bit strict and has a special certification in reading and places big emphasis on reading. Yay! Rotten2's teacher is cute, friendly, bubbly and very enthusiastic. Rotten2 is going to have a new best friend *grin*
And now? We have three days until school starts!

Yes Carey, I did put them in school out here by our house. It was quite liberating to make that decision and know that the ex-in-laws just don't have a say in the kids' schooling anymore.
Swami, as of next school year, all Texas schools cannot start earlier than the 4th week of August.
No, Nutz. One - Friday, two - Saturday, three - Sunday and the next day is school! You just have to use the logic of the Rottens.
Oh! I was counting 3 days from Thursday the 10th, which would be Sunday the 13th.
Bleh! I love the Staples commercial though with "the most wonderful time of the year" Christmas song playing.
